COACHING
Coaching is a way to help someone move forward in their life, personal as well as professional. It is future orientated and action orientated. You will explore strategies that are helpful for you and become more aware of how you are sometimes getting in your own way (we all do). In the process, you will pick up planning skills that you can use later in the future, and learn how to stay focused and motivated. This way you gain more control and also more confidence and joy. In coaching we believe that the client is the expert on their life. A coach therefore does not give advice about what to do. We help the client to find those answers within themselves.

International Coach Federation (ICF) defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
PSYCHOTHERAPY
Every session can be different - depending on what you bring. Sometimes it is more talking, sometimes it can be exploring a dream, a body symptom, working with movement, sounds or images.
Processwork (or Process oriented psychology) has been developed by Arnold Mindell and his colleagues since the late 1970s. A quantum physicist and a Jungian analyst, Mindell started noticing the same patterns in dreams we dream at night and in our body symptoms, relationship issues and our experiences in the world. As if part of us was 'dreaming' while we go about our everyday life. Processwork recognizes and values equally our objective reality lives and the subjective feeling and/or spiritual experiences that are not always easy to put into words. For that Processwork develops tools for working with movement, sounds, art and images and altered states of consciousness. I first met with Processwork in the early 1990s in Slovakia, a couple of years after the fall of communism. It was like opening all doors and windows to fresh air and new exciting worlds. Processwork offered skills, concepts, and language to explore even the most entangled situations and dynamics, brought hope and answers to questions I did not even know I was asking. These days my interests are in working with individual, intergenerational and collective trauma; exploring ‘frozen’ states and silences that happen to us internally and also on a group and collective level, and ways how to come out of there, while bringing out their unique meaning and language (how can we bridge the silence into the world of more openly shared experiences and create a community built on deep sharing and respect?). I am fascinated by the Processwork idea that the difficulties we are meeting are at the same time showing us the way through; in this way they are our allies and teachers.
